                                TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
Localized areas of soft tissues dysfunction that negatively influence target areas which evolve to form nodules, referred pain, weakness, or dysasthesias resulting from stress of one sort or another.  Trigger point treats these areas through manipulation and intermittent ischemic compression, or specific pressure to target areas allowing blood flow.

                                FACILITATED STRETCHING
Facilitated stretching is based on PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) principles and stretching techniques.  These techniques may be done passively or as active-assisted exercises.  Muscle energy techniques (MET) may also be used and include include PIR stretching, which stands for post-isometric relaxation.  The name refers to the neurological inhibition of a muscle following its isometric contraction.
